Our Sustainability Philosophy
Committed to sustainability, 87th Street Creative implements both environmental and social stewardship in our business model. Our decisions hold environmental, stakeholder, and employee accountability in mind, driving decisions that promote a better future for all.
Creating Equity
While women make up 50–70% of academia; in animation-related fields, only 21.6% of the industry is female. This stark drop-off, as illustrated here, reflects a systemic barrier to entry and advancement in the animation industry. 87th Street Creative is dedicated to changing this. To minimize environmental impact, the following are hazardous waste items must be disposed of through certified recycling and waste management programs:

Batteries: All used batteries must be collected in designated battery recycling bins and disposed of through authorized e-waste recycling centers.

Electronic Equipment: Outdated or broken electronic devices must be donated (if functional) or recycled through certified e-waste facilities.

Ink Cartridges: Used ink and toner cartridges must be returned to manufacturers’ recycling programs or dropped off at designated recycling points.
