MextrexValve

Mextrex Valve Corporation is a manufacturer of valves for HVAC systems for commercial companies and government agencies, based in California. The problem they came to 87th Street Creative with is that potential new clients needed help understanding where the valves they manufactured fit in an HVAC system. The use of engineering symbols in a static image that had been used on their website was causing confusion and not engaging (see the illustration above where the "BEFORE" arrow is pointing).

87th Street Creative took their existing HVAC system schematic image and transformed it into an engaging, looping, seamless animation that tells a story about the role of their valves in the HVAC process. It was a creative challenge to get the timing and pacing just right for each part, but the results were worth it! Of course all branding guidelines were maintained to keep the colors and fonts in the animation aligned with the company's brand. See the looping animation above where the "AFTER" arrow is pointing that 87th Street Creative designed and animated.

Custom illustrations and animations can bring complex products to life, making them easier to understand and more engaging for viewers. With this new animation, they had a noticeable increase in quality lead generation because new clients understand how their valves fit in a cooling process.

The iteration process always takes time. It's important to invest that time in order to really develop a final custom product that is perfectly unique to the company, the brand and the complex topic being explained. Below are a few of the iterations that were created during this process.
